Schumacher Brothers 1-2 in Japan  [2004-10-October]

After the torrential rain and typhoon of the previous days, Michael Schumacher dominated the Japanese Grand Prix. The weather conditions forced qualifying to be run on Sunday morning for the first time in F1 history, making it an action packed Sunday for teams, drivers and spectators alike. And Michael Schumacher made more history by being the first driver to take pole and win on the same day.

Michael Schumacher, on pole, took the lead from the start and was never troubled. Ralf Schumacher finished second followed by Jenson Button, Takuma Sato and Fernando Alonso.
